  • NAWO [National Alliance of Women Organizations] – ISW is the focal point of NAWO, West Bengal. It extensively works at the grassroot level and led by committed and experienced activists who believes in gender justice and goals of equality.
  • Maitree – ISW is a member of this platform for action, formed in 1995, post Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing that marked a significant turning point for the global agenda for gender equality. Nupur had represented ISW at this global conference held in Beijing.
  • Aman Network – It is a network that pledge to raise Global Voices for Peace in Home and is an International Network to end Domestic Violence. ISW offers legal aid counselling to all women who succumb to all sorts domestic violence both at parental home as well as in-laws.

ISW Office Bearers & Its General Body Members

The team ISW is headed by Prof Chitra Ghosh, who has been a faculty at Lady Brabourne College, Kolkata. She happens to be the niece of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and therefore carries her legacy herewith. She has been a strong pillar of this organization and participates actively in all our work. 

Amalesh, the vice-president is a lawyer by profession who imparts legal consultation to the women who has been the victims of violence of any sort. 

Nupur, an educationist herself, who has worked in Burdwan University as well as an officer at KMDA is a selfless woman who has dedicated her entire life for this organization. She has never taken a single penny from this organization, instead, she donates nearly half a lakh from her pension every year to this organization. 

Swapna,  is also an ex employee of KMDA who has been another strong pillar of this organization. 

Gautam is a dedicated treasurer of ISW, who otherwise works as a senior accountant in Govt of India organization.
